As a child I used to love putting my library card into good use. I took pride in borrowing multiple books and reading through them as quickly as possible. If my mind serves me correctly, Christopher Pike books were my favourite (horror).
Fast-forward to my adult life, about 4 years ago, I got back into reading again. Although it wasn’t as consistent as I would have liked for it to be, the mere fact that I was back at it again, made me happy. I ended up with a cute collection of books, which I gave to a local charity, before heading to Ghana for 6 months.
Upon returning to the U.K, I am back to reading again. This time, I want to remain consistent. I have told myself that when I finish a book, I shall immediately start a new one. Now that I am typing up this post, I think it would actually make sense to have books on stand by.
Nevertheless, here are the books that I have read so far this year:
And I have just started this today.
Reading is a great way to escape your hectic reality. Reading suited books for your lifestyle not only widens your knowledge, but it can also help you in various ways. For example, if you want advice on branding/business, there are several books on the market that offer unlimited advice/stories that you could benefit from. Maybe if you are like me, and your love life is non-existent, you may want to read books on how to resurrect it. There are books suited for every single individual on this planet. Why not expand your knowledge, by indulging in this hobby? Who knows, you may BENEFIT from it.
